A thousand faces, a thousand places,
But just a face in the crowd.
Love cries out, always in search,
crying above the noise, not heard,
always so loud.
A lifetime of searching, praying,
around the next bend, a woman, a lover,
more important, a friend.
Find that special being,
one to bring life alive.
Emotions let loose, no more,
to be deprived.
Two thousand eyes,
to peer into one's soul
All are in search of,
the ultimate goal.
Perfection in a mate, formed,
by love and desire.
Volcano's erupt,
the body, set on fire.
A thousand people,
each leaves its traces.
But there is not one to love,
in the crowd,
of a thousand faces.
