You're Not the One

Written by: James Loggins

You know good and well that you
Are much too carefree and wild
Now you think that you are capable
Of taking a wife and raising a child

It's just not like you
To have a family of your own
Besides, how do you expect to get through?
These hard times without a job

And there is another thing
How do you expect to marry this girl?
When you do not have the money to buy a ring
It is not like money grows on trees

I mean, she looks to be a girl
Who needs a whole lot more
Than you could ever give her
She will walk out your front door

When she realizes that you're no good
Or that you can't raise her son
So I suggest you get out of this right now
Because you are not the one
