Harmony

I saw you today in the dust on the china cabinet. It was cloudy but the gray always makes the pigment of the trees more prevalent. The purple flowers reminded me of your wigs somehow. I never knew you when you had hair. Just a petite little thing with scarves tied around your head. You were so beautiful no matter what the time of day. April was raining this afternoon and I was too. But only for a moment when I saw your eyes in the shine of the teacups. Tea was always a favorite of yours.
