Fate

Fate

You cryptic timeless Dame!
Why do you play pranks on me?
And leave me thinking so?

I was the withered green that laid,
Strained in an arid land,but
Your luscious hands caressed me.

Like the joyous grass on a dewy morning,
I received your cool.
In the midst of this calm
I relished my elation
I thought I was great;
Or meant to be...

Twas' day for me,but
Now it's night again
To leave me in cold feet
Freezing out in this mist!

Day and night,I try to unravel
Your inscrutable antics
Like the xerophyte yearn for the waters,
I crave the soothe of your hands!
