The Day Must Die
Darkness is throwing her cold mantle
Over the frightened sky,
Eating up the last rays of a light gentle;
Night has come; the day must die!
They're full of flaws and so judgmental;
But I'll forgive them, I swear; I will try.
Darkness is throwing her cold mantle
Over the frightened sky,
Eating up the last rays of a light gentle;
Night has come; the day must die!
“It's all in your head! This illness is mental!”
“It’s like the freezing embrace of a passer-by!”
Above the heads is erected, the unknown metal;
The scene cannot be perceived by the naked eye.
Darkness is throwing her cold mantle
Over the frightened sky,
Eating up the last rays of a light gentle;
Night has come… and the day must die!
