happy thoughts set upon false ideas,
the thought of us together still haunts
me, after all those years, stained tears,
under the shattered sky of our love
punch. slap. your knuckles crack.
i weaken under your sun for
i think the world of you and you,
you think nothing of me.
is this my true love,
who i am destined to be?
he was too young to understand,
you killed him before he could be,
be who he was destined to be. a man.
you punched your way through his brain,
he held the gun but you fed the bullet.
you. you killed my son. my one and only.
and you expect me to stay. no one,
nobody will love me again you screamed,
i cried. why live a life when surrendering from
the pain is so much easier. i cried each night,
each day.
until the night i hung the rope, said goodbye,
pushed the chair away. i heard a siren, a womens cry,
but what does it matter.
whats a life without a dream.
