Au Revoir
Blank pages scribed with hate
Empty voices scream my name
Poison lingers down my throat
It was time to let go
Deep thoughts and shallow waves
My heart screams of a pallid taste
Made to be let and then forget
On my token I would bet
Eyes leak tears in pathetic notion
I can see where this is going
Forget your sanity and your love
Patience is a thing of not to withhold
Maybe id cry a little less,
If you had just kept your last promise.
I fell asleep on a train track road
Never hearing the horn
They say it hits you when you least expect it
But I didn't need to be warned
What I remember, wasn't the sunset or how they danced in the sky
A flash of light to say goodbye
All to the thought of smoke and mirrors
In the dark you see their faces weep
But for what we'll never know
A shattered heart lays on the floor
No help ascending for her
This soul's trapped in between
Unfinished business like a child's mer-mers
She felt the heat of the burning candles three hundred in alignment
She'll never feel the rays of the sun
A stair case led to no specific location
With destination left unsaid
In end of last sentence she desires, one last cry
The day she left not one soul morned
And bitter faces sat so scorned
An ending of existence left unsaid
To only in her heart, the rest of her was pardoned in absence of her concluded
One morning rather night
Sparked a fire caught by cruelty
One too many stories left unread
Only marked in ink, replaced by roses and silk woven without feeling
To leave I would be sorry
To stay I'd ache to go
Final realization
Beats through my heart more than you'd know
I'd beg to be forgiven
Forever live with guilt
But in a sense the world has shaken and I'd try to recluse
I would decline your offer, of eternal love
Just to be mistaken for a ticket less above
She foreshadows of a future
And forever be ignored
Yet is screaming from an answer;
Only inside her heart
In slow motion she has fallen at the rate of a bullets cry
Fast forward, is broken and the devil only knows why
Only the good days are forgotten
Where the bad ones just break ties
Her sorrow gets a little louder when the moon is in the sky
They'd all be better off with out the burden she holds
And inside a fist of anger, their truth is behold
Zippered lips hold their secrets and bundles lies
Hearts break, thoughts and moments shattered
To the sound of their breathless cries
