The Woman Down the Street

Don't let the ring on her finger
Or the baby on her hip
Trick you into thinking
You don't need to worry about
The woman down the street.
Don't let the three year commitment
Or his words of sweet serenity
Trick you into thinking
You don't need to worry about
The man in your bed.
When you're working late
Or out with friends
The woman down the street
And the man in your bed
Sneak through the shadows of the night
To betray your trust.
Don't be tricked into thinking
You don't need to worry about
The woman down the street.

Don't take your eyes off the woman down the street because she has her eyes on your man and will steal him if she can! Lizzie this is an excellent piece! Well done and congratulations on a worthy win! Pandita.
