When I Was In Love
When I was in love my heart was light. You made the day feel a lot more bright.
When we would gaze into each others eyes, I could actually see yours glisten. I
would sit quiet and just let my heart listen. For sometimes your look is all that it
takes to make my heart pound and my hands shake. Deep inside of me a feeling
has grown. With hugging and kissing only a crush is shown. You gave me
happiness, the kind I needed each day. if sometimes I didnt let it show I loved
you in each and every way. The times we shared together brought us much
closer than i thought. Alot of ways we are the same yet we are not. At one time
we were so close but at the same time so far apart. Babe you know its true you'll
forever share my heart. Each day I think of you alone, so young in the mind if
only I had known. I hear your laughter and imagine your smile while fooling myself
it will just be a while. Inside I feel all of my mistakes, maybe you were a dream so
soon I will awake. i cant stand the thought of you being with somebody else.
Maybe Im being greedy but ive got to have your love all to myself. At one time I
thought we would always last. now my friends say forget him hes in the past.
You wouldnt talk to me even if I tried. you think I didnt care but i really cried and
cried. Though life is long and many loves we both may come to fine. None will
ever be the same to me as yours and mine. i hope someday we can talk again to
give our love a better end. i wish you happiness in future years. i will think of
you and cry more tears.
