My Eyes

He isn't close to perfect and it's fine, because he doesn't need to be,
His imperfections bring out the beauty I see in him,
They burn as bright as the stars, always visible from afar,
His weirdness is so adorable, because somewhow its attractive,
His ambition and actions are what sets him apart, he sure is smart,
I'm not praising him nor am I making him seem like something beyond our being

 B U T ,

merely pointing out the beauty he once didn't see,
He has an amazing heart and I'm glad it beats for me.

Christine, this is sweet. I have a man who is almost like the description above. He's not all that, in my eyes, he's my everything. My soulmate... a perfect verse. Love Linda
