True Dance Infidelity

Moving in quiet on my still life silked
Heavy wings on our lives, they flap urgent
Songs of allure circle my birds of prey
A promise now and sometimes the dirge
Games we started true on captive hours
Now a plot never thought of, it unwinds
Reeling in desire we blind our faiths
Rhythm divine from closed off frontiers
We dance in true, and out again on chains
Waltzing out his marriage on few stolen hours
His infidelity my crime, on ports of true-dance…

Such sadness here. Some roads cannot lead to a happy place and it is devastating to find oneself on such a road trudging along looking for an exit. Brilliantly written.

A perplexed soul dancing the waltz of infidelity dreaming of happiness that could never come! A very deep emotional poem with overtones of a moral dilemma and guilt that shadows the moments of joy! Excellent development and profound knowledge of matters of the heart, dear Bindu!
