I was sitting by the ancient well, drawing power to endure
Frozen in silence at hate prowling close

Naïve and helpless, I was blinded with tears
As hate cried harsh, accusing me of stealing meanings

I have no answers, all I did was dress memories
And I let them go, tumbling out through my weary life

The walls I build around me grow their purple madness
Fragrant with relentless spells, wisteria enchanted

The bees dancing in their pollen filled lives
Promise me magic potions that would swallow my past…

Captivating and beautiful, Bindu! I must agree with most of what Joel said. Also, we need to sever ties with certain things in life, while looking ahead with a promise of better things to come. #7 // paul

Surreal Bindu!! Amazing imagery ......"The walls I build around me grow their purple madness Fragrant with relentless spells, wisteria enchanted" I love this stanza. This is a beautifully sculpted poem on the darkness we all face, internal and external. At least that is one meaning I take from it.. I am sure the allegorical implications are limitless with your masterful work.. Timeless this is. a hard 7. Thanks so much for sharing and visiting and reading my poetry as well. ~Joel
