Stormy Pain
My heart is hurting, I am so sad.
I feel like crying, but the tears just won't fall...
This pain I have is such a burden on me.
I lost the most precious things to me...
My beautiful children I long to see.
Though it hurts so badly, I must keep going.
I yearn for the day when I can look to you and say
that I love you, and to me you will say the same.
I wish I could take a journey through your mind
to find out how you really feel inside.
I fear this experience...
The storm clouds range over me.
Will you open your arms and welcome me
Will you cry with joy and be more complete
Will you say it is too late now; and just push me away.
Will you talk to me and tell me how you feel...
Thoughts of you pace through my mind
Are you okay, are you safe, are you hungry,
are you cold, are you healthy, and are you happy... and are you being loved..
I will always wonder how you are.
My heart beat like thunder.
I hope soon this storm will pass over.
Can the damage be repaired?
I don't know, but it is worth the try.
I will never give up and I will never say goodbye.
