THE TRUTH FAVORS NO ONE
In life...duty and honor matter above all things.
To truly defeat an enemy you must know him better than yourself.
What if you are your own enemy?
I know this enemy well, they play to their strength and will not be drawn into truth.
Instead content with what's soothing to the ear, hiding in the shadow of their own deception.
Come the dawn, we count our losses and sow the earth with our dead.
The longer we lie to self, the deeper the cold soaks into our soul,
And peace makes way only for the stinging bite in our future.
A man without his word is no better than a beast.
I made a promise to self, that is my task. That is my duty.
To stay within the truth,
Like a double edge sword it cuts trough the thorns of my life,
Without favor towards my desire.
FOR THE TRUTH FAVORS NO ONE.
