Dull weather

The weather-
A cataclysmic stratosphere of storm-soot
Dumb-struck in the black breeze.
Mind-numbed by a slump-gloom-
Drifting across- this hostile room

Sky like a bootlegged haze.
Contraband of sunshine-
Distilled in its moonshine rays.
A congregation of precipitations-
Platinum sky-slime blinds.

Condensation blurs gleaming eyes-
The road- a ragged rink of rime
Spitting its slushy ice-smiles.
Lost in a lull of never-ending days.
Buoyed by the promise of new roots-

Flowers once dormant- pulling their nutrients.
Rainbows of minerals- fruit-blooms-
Concealed earth-salts.
Hardened ground laments- shudders
To thickening winds.
