When Skies Break Loose

Raining down upon our thoughts,
dreams so dreary leave only stomach knots.
so mighty and tall they towered us all, reflecting
the sapphire sky so blue, Beholding our trust
yet on the day they danced to dust....

The ground shook, The waves cried,
The sky broke loose and collected the souls,
The ones worthy of leaving us all, Leaving in fall.
If autumn could cry its tears would rain goodbye, To
brothers and sisters, mothers and misters.
As the skyline collects our lovers it blisters.

Sunken in air, the city in despair, with thoughtless care
we all drown in stare. But the city's heart is for all to share,
Don't you be shy why for you its there, sew in that heart and mend
up those cracks, we all carry weight that is breaking our backs.
Someday we shall all fade into the sunset, reunite with the ones that
we've leased to the stars, cleansed of scars as we fly with our lovers
among Saturn and Mars.

For all left in that lonely zone, frozen to the cold hard bone, Just
remember your not alone, untie those knots, for your lovers dreams are
raining down upon our thoughts.
