From a family creating warm memories that live in echoes within its walls
The smiles are placed in pictures hung up so elegantly in display
Precious moments cherished, exist inside frames to show the beauty of them all
A home will rest still upon blooming flowers that mother used to grow
Spreading their perfumes as if they were sent
From the life in memories she embraced years ago
Released by the side of a home that still stands from her presence
A home is truly where the heart still remains
No matter how far we shall travel away
A home is like a candle that continues burning its warm flame
To rid the darkness that would blind us from coming back someday
A home becomes that spark that once lit the embers of old fires
Still to burn for the next generation to be
Where their memories too shall be displayed on walls too admire
