Life is not a journey into the grave
It is increments of reflections a person once gave
A legend representing one’s soul
That will never die, nor grow old
Life is not a journey towards death
For it still exists only in a different way
Within a baby just born taking his first breath
To the flowers of spring that just bloomed today
Life will remain within us no matter all the twists and turns
Different roads that we’ve all taken during the course of our journey
It will lead to an everlasting life that is destined to return
For Jesus died on the cross for us to live for eternity
Life is not a journey of days that end
For our imprints of time forms an energy that stays
Within a soul’s residue that comes back again and again
Thus death is not a journey but a life lived in a different way…
