Bells of History Chimes

The bitter taste from years of pain
He struggles to keep on living..the fight
Only time will tell if it was all in vain
Wishes for higher powers to never see his plight
Will history grant him with the award to tell the tale
Or simply just wipe his Earthly legacy away with time
To a time and existence where only indifference prevail
Its a bitter pill to swallow..letting the bells of history chime
