I like boys better than girls were the words she spoke I was so hurt my heart just broke I realized then why I had felt so alone Why tears flowed in my childhood home I can’t remember feeling loved I can remember tears by the flood No one comforting no one to hold Most of the time I felt lonely and cold As I grew up I just looked for love It was something of which I could not get enough Sadly though it was just never found The months and the years just went around The more I searched the more I was abused So many years of being used So many times my heart was broken The words “I love you” left unspoken Up until I now I found nobody cared Even though their name I shared It was all about them not about me Oh how different it could have been IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ALL ABOUT US!!

You don't need anyone to love you. You just love yourself and everything will fall into places. You have the love of the Father and that is all that matters. Besides I love you and I do like boys more than girls. That is so inappropriate lol. But smile okay?

This is a sad write, I hope life has changed dramatically to the better. As a kid I would certainly relate to your perspective here.
