The Kingdom of Heaven - Part One
The Kingdom of Heaven has opened to us because of the death of One Man
The darkness fled with the Rise of the Son, according to God's Wondrous Plan
The Kingdom of Heaven is like the good seed a man had sown in his field
Though the enemy came to poison the ground; through the Son came a righteous yield
Righteousness comes through a repentant heart with hope and love for God's Word
And whatever it is that we ask of Him, our prayers will surely be heard
It's a Glorious Kingdom where we will live; the streets are paved with gold
On the Throne His Father prepared for Him, sits the One Who will never grow old
Jesus Christ will Reign through Eternity and His Kingdom will have no end
He proved through the Sacrifice He made for us, that He is a forever Friend
Through His death on the Cross, we are Redeemed from the curse that ravaged our souls
With the love and forgiveness God gave to us, the devil has lost all control
Come, sit with Him in the Light of the World where darkness will not come near
For repentance has lifted our souls from despair and we will not live in fear
How blessed we are to share in the life of the King Who Reigns over all
We'll reign with Him through Eternity; from our thrones we will not fall
Yes, the Kingdom of Heaven has opened to us because of the death of One Man
Darkness has fled with the Rise of His Son, for this was God's Marvelous Plan
