Happy Mother's Day

The sound of your voice, the feel of your touch
Since day one on Earth, She’s loved you so much.

As a baby she would cry… And I’d cry too,
Who did I call? No one but you.

You were always there to help me out,
And to show me what being a Mommy was all about.

When in your arms she was always content,
It was at that point I knew that Nana’s were God sent!

As I’ve learned to be a Mom, you’ve walked by my side
Helping me, teaching me, glowing with pride.

I’ll never forget Kaelynn’s first day of school,
We helped her get ready, trying to play it cool.

She walked out the door, she was ready to go
And how my heart felt, only You could know.

“You told me to smile, stop all that crying…
There’s really no point in all that sighing.”

“Today will probably be the first of many,
Days of heartbreak, you’ll have plenty.”

It was you that taught me, that it could be tuff…
It’s not always easy, and it could get rough.

But as long as you’re here, we’ll have each other.
I’ll always know the true love of a mother.

Happy Mother's Day to the most wonderful and deserving Mom I know.
