I was born in Adelaide, South Australia, being the youngest of three siblings. I attended Salisbury Primary School for some time, my favourite teacher was Miss Luv. At the age of nine my family moved south to Hallett Cove, where I attended Seacliff Primary School. After some years of ill health, I found school to be a struggle. In grade seven Mrs McKay, my class teacher, taught a lesson on peotry, and from there I was hooked. And through a class project I wrote my first poem, where along with my other class mates, we all had our work published in a small book titled Opinions. I found Mrs McKay to be a great inspiration and I have carried on writing poetry. Throughout my teens I spent most of my time reading and sailing on the family yacht until I took up ice skating at the age of 15 at local rink. my 2nd husband Trevor and I have four beautiful children, one of which has Aspergers. They are aged 13yrs and under and they take up most of my time.
I love and continue to write poetry nearly everyday, I also enjoy photography and genealogy research as a hobby. I am planning on publishing many of my other poems and photographic works in an array of different books. My facebook page, Ecaabooks is http://www.facebook.com/Ecaabooks where one can keep track of all my new books in the planning
