Enduring love

The moon was setting over the bay
a perfect ending to another day
You take my hand as I stumble
I almost crumbled.

It brought me back to days gone by
when i was a girl and you a young boy
hair of gold i had back then
not a blemish on my skin

you were strong and handsome too
tall and lean a perfect specimen

we stroll in the moonlight
under the stars thanking god we have come this far.
