Feelings
My mind has been invaded
with thoughts of you.
Words escape me whenever you are near.
My heart becomes a hummingbird
with just one of your smiles.
You have become the light at the end
of a Monday thru Friday tunnel.
My world has been turned
upside down and inside out.
All because I can't stop thinking
I can't help but try for your attention,
even when it seems to fail.
I can only hope that I can one day
Bring up the courage to tell you
how I feel, this jumble of emotions.
