Seasons of the Soul
With patience and forgiveness we have weathered our storm
We have found the calm only experience and growth can form
Souls intertwining, our hearts beat as one
Finding in each other a connection able to be broken by none
Looking through tears I remember the hard times
Yet they are tears of joy because through all this you are still mine
Past youth and into grey-headedness we will continue to grow
Our spirits meeting on a level that is, to the rest of the world, unknown
God has blessed our union in that we complement one another
Each soul a reflection, incomplete without the other
