WHAT's HAPPENING TO OUR CHILDREN?
What's happening to our children Lord ?
What makes them go astray?
You try to teach them right from wrong
Yet, they chose to go the oppposite way.
I know that Satan is the ruler of the world.
For he has his tricks and traps.
He uses drug, bad assoication and
some of this music we now call rap.
It tells our children parents don't understand.
They never felt this way.
They've never been a baby, child or teenager
So why should we listen to what they say?
Our peers know where we're coming from.
They know the way to go.
For they were born when we were born.
So I know they got to know.
I'll come home when I feel like it.
Go to school just when I please.
Don't ask me to do no chores around here.
I don't care if you beg or plea.
We're the children of the new generation
And this system will back us up.
That's what's happening to our children, parents.
Keep praying but, don't give up.
