Stopped by Life On a Sunny Day

Stopped by life on a sunny day,
Flowers use earth's pallette
To become their own Monet.
An ecstacy of trees
Builds stairways to the sky,
As tabernacles of cardinals
Chant, by and by.
A suirrel's content
To munch awhile.
He looks at me.
Did I see him smile?
I must be mad
Or in a daze,
For I hear him speak
In squirrel ways:
"Trust in life,
You sweet, young thing.
This ain't no game,
And I'm no djinn.
The flowers, birds, and trees sing true.
Just follow your heart,
And you'll never be blue."
