In a World Of Shame II

Grey skies storming on my home
Heat, yet chilling myself to the bone
Replacing words with others then examine
Replacing damned hunger by holy famine…
Replacing vanishing from world by fade
Replacing songs of death by a serenade…

On the seashore waiting for the tidal wave
My life to the great tidal I gave…
On the mountain waiting for the storm
My words for death I will reform…
On the doors of a slaughter house I wait
Setting my death, and giving it a date…

Weeping for what life has come to
Lying about my innocence and saying so
Guilt lets me get what you don’t understand
Enlarging torture and pain I expand
Leaving duties behind me and forgetting
Leaving sorrows, yet without regretting

Depending on you, yet letting off the rope
Depending on you, yet letting off the hope
Depending on the world, while the world fails me
Blaming it on myself, since I want to set you free
Tears of upcoming disaster are reflected
Through the mirror of pain, yet rejected

Drowning in a sea of forbidden feeling
A sea of craving wound, yet sealing
Sealing the tears of hundred priests
Priests that long leashed the unholy beasts
Smiling in the face of fate, yet quivering of fear
Drawing my destiny near, and making death clear

Identifying death and justifying suicide
Eliminating options from life as I hide
Weeping for colored dreams of a world of surreal
Playing games with lies, chained with what I feel
Remembering the lost life, sour and sweet
Remembering life, chaotic yet so neat

Holding breath with last numb fingers
Clinging to hopes and their bringers
Burning with flames, yet seems so cold
Watching me, dying in this harsh yet sweet world
Tasting the bitter taste of death under the sour rain
Realizing a rebellion attempted against this reign

A dark reign, a reign of oppression
A reign of hollowness and depression
A reign that held innocents as prisoners of war
A reign that I held and a reign that I bore
A reign of imprisoning beast of no existence
Through the road of ultimate distance

Watching days as they fall aside and die
Watching days as they pass near by
Watching with blind eyes and realizing
Watching my mistakes kill what I’ve been building
Dying with hundred scars in my back
Dying as I seek what I long lack

Yet in a world of shame, I stand here with everything lost…
