    And I thank God every day that I have her by my side!...women are tougher than men in most ways... Women might not need us, but we sure as heck need them...lol

    Poking around in some oldies here, FJ. I really like this one...and I agree. I know what you mean about this subject being a bit touchy for some women, but when a man treats his wife with love, it's easy for her to respect him....and there is the confusion...some people relate fear to respect..like, RESPECT ME WOMAN!! But that's not it at all. It's about love and respect...no relationship works without the two. I'd be lost without my wife!!

    Yea...I do not 'do' "RESPECT ME WOMAN" Caleb!! lol You are right though; it is an oldie. Half of these are significantly older than the posting date ;) Thank you for 'poking around' ;)

    FJ What a charming and unique write on the roles of a woman. I'm a mommy and wife and could totally relate to this poem. Nice job Thanks for the sweet new year wishes.

    Morning Robin; I've actually received responses from a couple upset women with this one lol. They lose the meaning of certain words when used in relation to a man and they jump offensive. There is no man on this earth that I am beneath; but I respect my husband enough to stand beside him as he takes the role of 'head' in our home ;)
