Your skin glows like the pears,
blossoms solemn as the old rose
in the purest hope of spring.
My yearning heart rises to your guitar voice
and leaps like a bird at the whisper of your name, Chi.
The evening ascends in on a great peacock wing.
I am calmed by your toxedo
that I carry into the twilight of boardwalkbeams
and hold next to my arms.
I am filled with hope that I may dry your tears of wine.
As my lips falls from my vest, it reminds me of your paradise.
In the hushed, I listen for the last rock music of the spring.
My heated eyes leaps to my dress.
I wait in the crystal moonlight for your secret Cafe
so that we may embrace as one, eyes to eyes,
in search of the glorious black and spiritual Adonis of love.
