The Other Side of Paradise

I am sure we will meet again,
on the other side of Paradise.
Your face is as calm as ever,
like a serene place where the waves meet the ocean.

Somewhere between now and eternity,
I am sure we will meet again.
Your smile is as sweet as I can remember,
and your tears form dewdrops on my soul.

Yes, I miss you with all of my heart,
and when you went away I felt robbed.
Yet, I am certain we will meet again,
on the other side of Paradise.

I feel the collages in your heart, and how you hold them very dear... Julie, i had to shake my head once, from the trance.. on how this is straight from your heart and soul. You are free to believe in Paradise... I know I am tough on my heart, --- sad reasons.. But, somehow you tickled a spot in my mind, and made me believe it is out there, My HEART KNOWS and feels... Thank you for the warm feeling..LINDA

As long as we believe in Paradise and Afterlife, we can feel blessed with this Hope that soothes our soul, when "losing" loved ones: we never lose them!

Julie, this has a very beautiful sadness about it. Yes, I, too, am certain that there is an afterworld where all the souls have an eternal banquet. :) Also, an equally devastating song by Lenka entitled "Nothing" came to mind after reading this piece. I hope you're alright.
