About This Poem

Septuagenarian saint and teenage devotee

Septuagenarian saint and teenage devotee

We are all born with enough virtues and vices
We are not either a saint or a sinner, but both
One’s life could be changed with a right advice
We are the carriers stocking bad and good both.

A saint arrested of raping a devotee young girl
Now all other girls who were raped in the past
Were offered high jobs in Temples many to swirl
Come out in forefront to blame the saint at last.

One of the girls who was raped in the year 1998
Enjoyed the high position for more than a decade
The saint a Guru, and the devotee the girl in gaiety
Who the saint who the sinner or both in charade.

Inspired by ""Every saint has a past, every sinner has a future."

If everything were black and white and undisguised then judgements would be easy. But we live in a world of shadows.

Life is full of positive and negative energy . Negative is not evil , nor is positive full of goodness . Each happening is but a lesson and we learn from both positive and negative. Sometimes the most powerful lessons are negative lessons. They get our attention and stay with us longer. We all fall short of our goals at times . Enjoyed your work Dr. Ram

Events like this happen all too often..Sometimes the person is telling the truth and sometimes the person is just flat lying..Even when all protection practices are in place to keep down accusations sometimes it still happens..Reads like a winner to me..Enjoyed reading your contest entry..Sara
