I am a rebel.
All women are.
I found insurrection at my father's knee.
I knew to survive, it had to be.
And don't be fooled, if I seem kind of shy.
I am a warrior til the day I die.
My mutiny is cloaked in hugs and kisses.
I've had some triumphs and some misses.
I've fought predators both large and small,
Always managing to survive them all.
This I do because I am free.
This I do for the rebel in me.
