Autumn Bleeds Winter

Trees fade and when Summer leaves
They'll baptize Me and You
Brothers in arms saying they feel the same way too
About the Sky denouncing all wishes
As the Earth withers and dies

Sepia into grey and into nothing
Circling, a warm wind and the messages being whispered
By Fall to awaken Winter and misty eves unveiling
They who are awake and listening

When she opens her eyes there will be nothing but a nest
A world, pristine white, touches the eyes of the moon
When the last elder falls Death will claim the throne
Speaking to Fires as the Snow takes over the realms
And all the souls are cold

Tales told by trees submerged
Their voices muffled Frozen underwater
A sunken forest, a pursuit, translucent
Gliding instead of Running
Flowing as there is Life in the ebb

Colors dissolving into oblivion
Circling, a chill and the messages being whispered
By Winter to slumbering Spring and misty eyes unveiling
They who aren't dead but just pretending to be

Alive yet growing fainter and fainter
Screams released as candles are made useless
Irises illuming coasts and motives
Daring the night to fall silent and take with it
Premonitions of the dark's best kept secrets
