Donna, I was around when Rock around the clock came out. It was an amazing time. The music of the 50's still ring in my head. Keep rocking. Allan

Smiling here Donna--no no yes yes we do have to laugh at ourselves twice as much as we cry, unless happiness is what draws the tear--and then we can go equally

Your write takes us back into our own thoughts and to thinking on how often we revisit the little details of those meaningful times we spent through our lives. I think these change as we grow older and further memories/lessons take their place... Your poem ticks the boxes in that it made me linger on the thoughts it brough forth. Enjoyable read.

Like the free verse..Very expressive and emotive work..Enjoyed reading this morn..Thanks for the visit to my page..Someone here maybe in the last ten years built a grist mill where one probably was long long ago but it is not a working mill but just for decoration or maybe they live in it or maybe it is a summer escape or something like that..Sara
