Fuzzy tree

Fuzzy Tree

The tree looks warm and fuzzy
“Grevilia I believe
It seems she’s reaching out to heaven
With her narrow pointed leaves.
She seems to say “The Spring is coming”
With a kind of energy
That comes within a haze of mystery.

The sky, so blue {the canvass there}
Pristine and cool and calm
She draws the lush green Mulberry
As it waves it’s thick green arms
To the technicolour Parrots there
Who be a smile indeed, from God
As the fountain sings a song of brotherhood.

And yet that little fuzzy tree
A Grevilia I believe
She pulls my gaze right back to her
And that’s a mystery
For yesterday she was there too
That tree, that one, the same
But the way she looks has somehow seemed to change.
