AMERICA

A government (in theory) for the people,
My birthplace, my land, and my home,
Eaten up by decades of misuse and decay.
Rich proud few, but full of many poor,
Indebted now and forevermore,
Corrupt politics now commonplace.
A nation (my inheritance?) now disgrace.

So sad, but true! Fantastic acrostic, Tara! Love, Kim

Thank you for taking the time to comment! I was thinking this might've been offensive to some people, but really this is how I've felt for a while.
