Loneliness Kills

               Woe unto thee,Oh death!,
         for putting me in this predicament,
  I never envisage to be without my angel,for once!
I could no longer sleep, for the night is long and cold,
       I hallucinate for there`s no one to talk to,
                I roll on my bed,for I`m lonely;
            I gaze at her picture like a mirage,
  Am I dreaming or insane?,or living in wonderland?,
            I hear voices,voices in the dark!,
     Darkness beckons,air whistles and eyes close...
Swimming in the sea of perpetual loneliness,I`m a martyr.

    Hi Arowolo, very well written as always. I love the 'tone' the poem brings out - it's like it is like the persona is in disbelief - like 'how could this happen to me'. Very well written.
