The conversation

The conversation

The three friends, they were talking
The Archer, fish and Bull
They’d all been round a good long time
They had their thoughts, and all
About the rights and wrongs in life
And each had problems too
They’d get together, each of them
And talk, that’s what they’d do

The archer told the wise old fish
I needs be on the move
I have a lot of life to live
That’s just the way I groove
“Now, I’m a dreamer” said the fish
I gain a lot of pleasure
Going right into my self
And seeking souls sweet treasures”

The bull, he said “I like to graze
I’m a sensual kind of being
Oh, I could laze around all day
As all around I’m seeing
The beauty of this crazy world
‘I’m contented, friends, that’s me
I have no need to dream, nor wander
I’m just content to be”

They carried on for some long time
The three friends, did this day
And when the conversation finished
And they each went their way
They all decided that this world
Has many different kinds
And each guy he must be himself
To gain some peace of mind.
