Sweet din of chimes on a zephyr exhale
Drawn sigh on refrain of the nightingale
Moon dust glistens on ivory snow,
Echoes peal on crisp winds low
Likened icicles tinkling melody sings,
upon bespangles of enchanted wings.
Woes foreign on a fairy's chest,
A sonnet resounds solstice blessed.
Chiming through darkness alight,
Within a chilled wintry night.
Bespelling stars shine down,
Adhering to a diamond crown.
Wrapped in a warm embrace,
A fire's glow on weathered face.
Though age mars, she smiled,
A child's heart reawoken beguiled.
