The First Good Excuse

It’s hard to talk about
All the things that go on in my head
And it’s hard get out
All the things that I’ve left unsaid

The tears that I’ve cried that nobody wiped
From my dirty face…,
Now leave with me salt, and a taste so bitter
I can’t replace….

All these years that I wondered
If anyone heard me
The ears that I’ve burdened
With ramblings
For once in my life I just wanna be heard
Loud and clear all my words
I just want to be heard and be understood
Please someone listen to me
Please someone listen to me

I’d love just hear
that you’re listening To the words that I say
And all these thoughts
that I think Connecting you to me

Can you help me bear this pain that I’ve been left
To bear alone….
The stress is too much for me and
I’ll soon be gone….

All these years that I’ve wondered
If anyone heard me
(Please someone listen to me)
The ears that I’ve burdened
With ramblings
(Please someone listen to me)
For once in my life I just wanna be heard
Loud and clear all my words
(Please someone listen to me)
I just want to be heard and be understood
Please someone listen to me
(Please someone listen to me)

Won’t anyone listen to me……
