Benign

I push it in.
Pull it down.
While you walk all over me.
I grab a pin.
Push it in.
While you stomp a hole in me.

So who am I to say this?
I guess I'll go down.
It's getting trippy.
I know this.
Lift me in.
I'll just fall down.

I'll fake this bravery.
Suffer from trust.
I hope this will bury me.
If it must.

Laughing at starvation.
Hunger for hope.
It's a fucking trade.
Not a fucking joke.
I won't have it made.
If I choke.
Not even for hope.

I just wait for a day.
When all of this seems benign.
I just hope I can say.
It's benign to me.
