Far from where aurora sleeps

Every night my soul climbs to a star in seek for your eyes in search for your lips As I think of you secretly between my subconscious and a dream Every night my arms embrace your absence with permanent seduction and infinite longing But tomorrow Tomorrow there'll be no other night Tomorrow I leave the tender of my words upon your heartbeat Tomorrow, the lines beneath your cheek wouldn't echo in my ear the sound of our laughter Tomorrow, each footstep forward in a cold puddle ,makes me wonder How long would this Winter last? How long till icicles melt? Tomorrow,I unfurl my sail and the wind will blow Tomorrow the wind will blow far from where aurora sleeps in our awekening in Venice and love in Florence

I really love your title for this Charma and there is such a longing & yearning you put in here-- beautifully penned as always, with that touch of melancholy but still laced with optimism and has this dream like quality-- sending you and your lovely Christina hugs!

Ditto to Carrie's comment...You should publish a book of your romance poetry...Thanks for the footle comment...You will be rewarded with good: Karma, Charma...and thanks for making those pancakes for me, but where is the: Syrup, Chircop? ...Probably mis-pronounced your name and also the word 'syrup'...Us red-neck southerners don't pronounce it 'seer-ip' but rather 'surr-up' which would rhyme with 'Chur-cup'...Okay, that's enough nonsense...

I gather from Andrea's reply below that Venice and Florence are a part of your life. Lucky you... Florence is a city where I felt absolutely at home on my first visit. I wish I could live there. Beautiful poem... Jack

you are so close to Venice, aren't you? I bet you can go there sometimes easily. I think the beauty of where you live has helped inspire you to keep writing beautiful poems like this one.

Oh, this is wonderful. I especially liked "each footstep forward," there is something so intent in those three words. Thank you for all your kindnesses and yes, I am busy, madly busy. But I hope to find more time for all my soup friends in a few more weeks. So glad I stopped by your poetry tonight. Sublime. :D Cyndi
