A Special Camping Trip

                                      - I am brave and big boy
                                      - Can I go camping
                                      - Adrian my smallest grandchild
                                      - I can do it myself
                                      - Where are you going
                                      - Not very far
                                      - In the garden at great grandmother
                                      - Great grandmother is dead my little friend
                                      - Yes, I know
                                      - The place that she has her gravestone
there will I set up my tent
                                      - At night, I would tell her that I still miss her

          - A true small story ....... Children have many beautiful thoughts and question
                                - However, there became no camping

Hi Anne-Lise, Children do have such a simplistic and wonderful way of looking at things. Many people wonder why we have to grow up. I wonder that myself sometimes. How wonderful it is to listen to children. I really Loved this story. Know matter what you write you do it in a gentle way, this piece is no exception. The whole piece in itself was wonderful. It was a delight to read this evening. Long may your pen run gold my friend. Have a good day. Catch you later. Your Friend always....MIKE.

It is definitely good to see things from a child's perspective sometimes because I believe that as we get older we tend to over complicate things and children just seem to make thing simpler. Beautiful story thanks for sharing.

A great story. I really like the "dialogue." It may seem odd, but I really like graveyards. I spent a lot of time in one after my father's death. I even learned to drive there. It's difficult to hit anyone in a cemetery... Jack

This is a real gem Anne...I have twin great-grandsons...Once when they were around 5 yrs old and my wife was still alive, she unknowingly had a rip in the rear of her jeans...James walked over to her when she was cooking, tugged on her shirt and whispered "Maw-maw, your pants are broke"...Priceless - Tim
