Blue

This girl that I once thought was beautiful
And when I first saw her, it was like phew!
She seemed at first like she was likeable
But became a person I no longer knew

As like the weather she was changeable
With her felt like a game of guess who?
And talk about one having a right gutful
Had I bitten off more than I could chew

And me thinking that we were inseparable
That wed always be together that’s us two
As she seemed like someone meaningful
No one before had said to me I love you!

Yeah this is starting to sound perpetual
But as always I'm back down that avenue
And something that’s always memorable
It now feels like this bad case of djsavu

I used to think that I was so indestructible
That I would never let anybody get through
And now I feel that I'm completely unfixable
No matter how much tape is used or glue

I never thought I would end up so miserable
And even now I still ask myself what do I do
Here I am yet again getting all emotional
But guess the story of my life feeling blue

Very touching. I really like the change-ups. I wrote a poem called blue. When I first was on the soup. (: But I really like this version. Mine was a bit on the downside....:) Always, Laura
