I have problems with hear exhaustion — the meds I take. Fortunately, I'm not the roofer, although I have done that awful job in the past. Me?? I'm indoors with the air conditioning.

I know Texas heat first-hand. I lived there most of my youth, and attended and taught at UT Austin. I still have friends there (Austin) who tell me the heat is worsening. Climate change? You bet. Jack

Oklahoma summers, yikes. I've been there. The sun is merciless. Well said! :)

It was 106° yesterday while the roofers were working. It's ten degrees cooler today, but still HOT! You've been here, so you know what I mean... Jack
