My morning story

Morning story

Here’s my story of the mornings
This be my perfect time of day
First I must do my meditation
I would not start, no other way
When this is done, I greet the morning
With my feet like feathers filled
Walking down the sleepy highway
Or walking round some velvet field

No daily noise, it can be heard now
Human kind they sleep so sound
In being swathed in morning softness
Oh such solace can be found
Sky alight with loves pure beauty
Little dots there passing by
Morning magic, it be coming
As night time begins to die

Soon the creatures will be coming
The morning will fill up with song
Birds will say their morning prayers
And all the world will just belong
The fountains with their melody
Will join in with that happy crowd
All the silence will be shattered
Yet still be here, so sweet and loud.

Then the day comes crashing in
Voices, voices every where
It’s another magic moment
The whole world knows when day is there
Better get my mind to doing
Let’s write down a song or two
All the world is filled with magic
Each moment it be so brand new.

Thank you Manel for your appreciation of my poem and for your good wishes. Each morning I meditate on the question of what it feels like to be me, the me behind everything, and this has made me very happy, and in love with the world. it's hard at first but addictive when grasped...Best wishes, my friend...Peter.
