After seeing two very foolish girls all dressed up to please the sexual attractions of the opposite sex, but when they mixed this up with beauty, I had to write this piece Peter

A question of beauty.
I watched TV the other day
And saw these foolish girls
All dressed up in silly gear
Their poor minds in a whirl
I heard then say, that they had beauty
And this caused me to smile
Cause all I saw was glamour there
Which fools heart does beguile
I don’t mind much what people say
But when they think like this
And speak of glamour, call it beauty
Well that’s not how it is!
So soft and wonderful is beauty
So pure and oh, so sweet
When beauty shines within one’s soul
How life feels so complete.
When seen within a persons soul
Pure beauty just shines out
And when you’ve felt it’s wondrous touch
You’ll know what it’s about
Cause, innocence and purity
And a heart so soft and pure
That’s what beauty’s all about
With it‘s wonderful allure.
