The silence seers my lips and
slows my speech on its tips.
Those longings that rope by legs
keep me from an open stride.
There is no pride in a senseless
tide that flows life's dreams
enticed by strangers falling.
All creation is calling but my dream
are now banned to reside alone.
Behold this wavering snow forever
so unforgiving. So faint and weary the
folly fastidiously flows toward no
Unforgiven we pose its form as hills
of grief grow forever taller and hearts
fade from us the caller that all make
And your heart fades with me as caller
That all make just weariness everlasting
The longing you shape your emotion
larger than any blue sea, a longing for
which there is no recompense And so
by brokenness I stop the longing to
Scorn that God has left me dry
to feel the pain and stand the time
where relevance never shapes me.
