Death Row

One afternoon in the chamber of death
A young man loses his life
Death took him with a smile

No longer feel pain
He truly forgives them all
Whose eyes were so blind
And covey him to his tomb
He knew he finally free

In hands of justice
By death of an innocent
Decayed truth unveiled

I have seen the injustice of innocents being found guilty. The pain of being incarcerated for something you are innocent of must be tremendous.... Great entry deserves the win..... Jake

Sad, powerful. How many have fallen victim from the blind eyes. Wonderful job!

How often we see injustice being met out to the innocent at heart. But in most cases the truth is never unveiled, which is quite a sad reality.Good stuff from you Shirley.xoxo
