Old prose

In lands filled with richness and
spices, rangy mountains, sand
cleanses and purifies;
mountains sink into shades of
crimson and violet,
thick-skinned limes fall in oases
Into a pool of golden tones.

the scent of salt never far,
from the sweat of heat,
off an ocean breeze,
an errant seashell, salt!
